Daniel Jacoel, Managing Director
Daniel has significant experience of banking and financial services both in China and the UK having worked at Standard Chartered in Beijing, as founder and Head of Kaupthing, Singer and Friedlander's China Team in London, then as a co-founding equity Partner of Akur Partners, where he was Head of Akur's China business services.
Daniel speaks fluent Mandarin and English and graduated with a BA (Hons.) in Modern and Classical Chinese from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
Daniel is a Vice-Chairman of the 48 Group Club (www.48groupclub.org), the history of which stems from the early 1950s when a delegation of UK businessmen - the "Icebreakers" - became the first Westerners to establish mutually beneficial relations with the newly formed P.R.C. Daniel is also the President of the Young Icebreakers which was established in 2008 following private conversations between the Club and China's Premier Wen Jiabao.
Bill Bachle – Luxury
Bill Bachle combines a long career in advertising and marketing with extensive political and public service.
For the last decade much of his corporate work has been centered in the luxury arena with consultancy work for many of the world's top luxury brands. He has handled brand development, advertising, corporate design and has created global marketing partnerships for some of the world's best known companies. He has advised American Express, Shell, AT&T, Diageo and MasterCard to Ben & Jerry's, DreamWorks SKG, Ford, Sony Pictures and AXA.
Bill created the advertising for Robert F. Kennedy's Presidential Campaign in 1968, has handled similar Senatorial assignments for George McGovern and created a global development program for Mikhail Gorbachev's charitable interests. He has also advised the Secretary-General's Office at the United Nations on private-public partnerships.
Bill is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, Manufacture and Commerce and regularly speaks at UK, European and American marketing events in the areas of creativity, the luxury sector and the private/public partnership area. He is presently Chairman of The Luxury Marketing Council Europe (an exclusive "invitation only" collaborative organisation of more than 3,000 top CEOs and CMOs who represent more than 875 major luxury goods and services companies).
